About The Pastor

"... As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." - Joshua 1:5 KJV

Shepherdess Patricia Jackson

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy ..." - Acts 2:17 KJV

Shepherdess Patricia Ann Jackson was born August 1, 1963, to the union of Elder Esau Jackson, Jr. and Mother Birdella Jackson. She matriculated through the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and continued her post high school education at Penn Valley Community College, while working steadfastly in ministry and in corporate America. After twenty-eight years of dedicated service to Fortis Benefits Insurance Company (formerly Mutual Benefits Life Insurance), she retired and worked toward entrepreneurial endeavors. Patricia is the sole proprietor of the PAJ Boutique, a women’s clothier specializing in one-of-a-kind suits, dresses, fancy hats and accessories.

As a young girl, Patricia worked diligently in the ministry, serving under the late Bishop E. Harris Moore. Bishop Moore was the prelate presiding of the Missouri Western [First] Jurisdiction and the proud pastor of the historical Barker Temple Church of God in Christ. Young Patricia sang in the youth choirs, served as a “Silent Worker”, and was often called upon to deliver speeches, poetry and welcome addresses. As a result of her faithful service and sweet demeanor, she was crowned as the first Miss Y.P.W.W. (Young People Willing Workers) of the Western Missouri Jurisdiction.

Patricia knew early in life that the hand of the Lord was upon. She understood that there was more for her to do in the Kingdom. In 1991, she elected to join her brother, Bishop Clifford A. Jackson, in ministry at the St. Paul Monument of Faith Church of God in Christ. She served as the Choir President and Youth President for many years. Patricia organized the “Youth Warriors”, a youth group at St. Paul. She sponsored various events and services that compelled young people to participate, learn more about the Lord, and genuinely want to be involved in the church.

Through this youth group, the Mo’ Faith Gift Shop was formed, which is still a working church auxiliary to this day. The “Youth Warriors” loved Aunt Pat, as she was affectionately referred. Those same young people are now married with their own families. They still speak highly of the experiences and life-lessons they learned from [now Shepherdess] Patricia Jackson.

In 1996, Patricia was recommended to the Missionary Examination Board by her pastor, Bishop Clifford A. Jackson. She, of course, passed the examination and received her Missionary/Evangelist License; the first credentials Patricia would hold in the Church of God in Christ – but not the last.

In 1999, after careful consideration and answered prayers, Patricia would follow her brother, Pastor Marvin Jackson, to the newly organized congregation at El Shaddai International Ministries. She served as the Pastoral Assistant of the Grandview, Missouri church from its inception. She was a key contributor of the successes enjoyed by the ministry and Pastor Jackson. No job was too small, too big or too costly for Missionary Pat, as she was fondly dubbed by the parishioners of El Shaddai.

On August 23, 2020, after nineteen years in ministry, Pastor Marvin Jackson was called from this mortal life to be present with the Lord. His untimely demise did not leave El Shaddai without a pastor, as he had appointed Missionary Patricia Jackson to be his successor. He had further intimated his wishes to his brother, Bishop Clifford A. Jackson, that their sister should precede him as shepherd of the church he founded. As the congregation – and family – grieved the death of their pastor, Missionary Patricia Jackson assumed the interim role of pastor until her official installation several months later.

On July 25, 2021, the Pastoral Assistant was duly elevated and installed as the Senior Pastor and Shepherdess of the El Shaddai International Ministries. The congregation continues to grow in numbers and – more importantly – spiritually under her watch care and teaching.
